Independent product
Arc
Code intelligence for AI coding tools. An independently built product.
The challenge
Understand the codebase before changing it.
A file alone rarely explains how a system works. Before changing code, you need to understand the codebase: which symbols matter, what depends on what, and how execution actually flows. AI coding tools need that same context — dependencies, callers and execution flows — to place a change correctly and see what else it might affect. Treating each file in isolation leaves gaps.
What I built
Code relationships, available through MCP.
I built Arc around code knowledge graphs and MCP tools for codebase exploration. It provides symbol search, dependency queries, execution-flow context and change-impact analysis so AI coding tools can work from relationships in the graph, not a single open buffer. I use it in my own development workflow to give AI tools relevant code context rather than treating each file in isolation.
Who it is for
Engineers and AI-assisted coding workflows that need codebase-level context — not another chat window over one file. Arc is an independently built product I use as research and tooling in my own work. There is no public pricing page or signup URL on tony.codes; this page describes the product posture from what ships in my workflow.
Alongside client work
Arc is product R&D alongside applied AI and full-stack client engagements. The same need for trustworthy codebase context shows up in production systems work — see Services and the CityFibre engagement for how that sits next to hireable delivery.
